Use Public Cloud to decrease space in Your Website

You planned to create a website, you bought a domain also. Then, what? You need space to upload your files (JSP, HTML, ASP, Image files, downloadable zip/rar files). And think of time when you are out of space.

What are you going to do now? Spend some extra money to buy space? No, it’s not necessary. There is another way, by which you can create a website without having no space in internet. You just need a domain name.

So how to do it? Here are the details.

  • First of all use your domain name and only upload your required front pages like HTML, JSP, and ASP in it.
  • Don’t upload any supporting image or rar/zip file for which you want to give links in your page.
  • Upload all your supporting files in website providing cloud services. There are many such websites like dropbox, Google drive, SkyDrive. It’s all free and you can get free space in them.
  • Once you have uploaded your data make them public (only to view) so that anyone can have access to it, if they have proper link for it.
  • Then in your view pages that you have uploaded earlier give these links in appropriate places.
  • Now whenever someone opens your website, it will work perfectly fine showing all supporting images files. You can also give access to zip/rar file to download them with proper links.

Here I am showing an example for support.zip file which I have uploaded in dropbox.com.

1. Upload the zip file.

2. Right click on it. Click on share button.

3. Click on “get link”, you can also copy the link from toolbar.

4. Give reference to this link in your pages and people can see them easily.

so save space and save money. :)
