Google introduces HummingBird in the Search Engine Algorithm

Google search engine and Search Engine Optimization are the best invention ever done for mankind and internet. As a dominant search engine inn internet Google is giving free service to all users for last 15 years, giving answers to all complex and lengthy query for its users.

As technology is developing and people getting more reliable on search engine the query are also getting lengthy, and complex. Now people are searching for more complex query in Google.

So Google is developing its algorithm too. Recently Google has introduced its latest algorithm Hummingbird and added to search Engine technology.

As per AmitSinghal the hummingbird affects 90% of search in Google algorithm today. "Hummingbird" is the company's effort to match the meaning of queries with that of documents on the Internet.

Singhal explained that Hummingbird is aimed at giving Google's search engine a better grasp at understanding concepts instead of mere words because people have become so reliant on the search site that they now enter lengthy questions in the search box instead of a few words, the report added.

Consider if a user is searching for “A place to buy Dell laptop near my home”. Previously the search engine was working to search for websites containing the words in the sentence. Now by thunderbird the search engine will try to understand the meaning of the word and what the user wants.

If the user has shared his location with Google then, it searches for stores nearby his location. Place to buy is intercept as store and Dell laptop is intercept as a gadgets of a specific brand.
