Save any Webpage as PDF format using Google Chrome

So in today’s internet based world, we as normal people take everything from internet. We do our daily activity from internet. Starting from mails, ticket booking, bill payments, recharges etc.

So think of the case when you want to save the receipt or ticket that you get after completion of your work. E.g. plane ticket booking.

Normally if printer is available we can directly print it or we write down the reference number, so that in future and then we can go to an internet café and can take out the print out, which means again get connected to the internet and pay extra money.

Now don’t worry for it. There another better alternative, in which you can directly save your final page in .pdf format. This .pdf file will download all the content which is available in the webpage and save it.

In future just take the downloaded file in any pen drive and just take a printout of it. You can mail it to some other person or can use it for future reference also, without having internet connection.

So how to do it?

1. To do this you just need the Google chrome browser.  If you don’t have it, you can download the same from here.

2. Do the transaction in the chrome and at last, for which page you want to save the pdf format file, just try to print it. For e.g. I want to save any page so to do that

Click on the button available on right side of the window as shown in the picture below and then choose print. You can do the same by pressing “Ctrl+P” keys together.

3. Once you get the print window, click on change button (if save as PDF is not selected).

4. Type pdf in the search bar and choose “save as PDF”.

5. Then click on “save”.

6. Choose the folder where you want to save the file.

Your pdf file is ready. Just use it for any future reference.

You can use it in irctc.co.in also, where it is needed to adjust the page format some time.
