As Facebook,
the most used website in the world has introduced “The Graph Search” (in Beta
mode) as a latest feature in this site, it’s time for you to take seriousness
with this.
Good features and facility that you will get form Graph search:
"Graph
search," Zuckerberg said, "is a completely new way to get information
on Facebook."
Now you can
easily search many things in Facebook. The details for your friends. Like “restaurants nearby that my friends have Liked”
or “Restaurants nearby that I have been to” or “Photos of me and my
siblings taken before 1990” and so many.
Just search
anything related to you or your friends anybody, what they like, what they don’t
and the Graph will allow to show every detail.
The things which has to be taken care:
As using Graph search
you can see what your friends and people like and dislike, where they have been
to. Similarly your friends can see what you liked, where had you been, and
everything about you that you had made accessible to them
By accessible, I meant
whenever you post anything on Facebook you can control to which people your
post is visible. You can do the same by click on the button place on left side
of post button as shown in figure.
For any post, check-in
or photo upload, if you have chosen public, it will be visible to everybody
internet now. So if you are used to do it, change your habit. Limit it to
friends or make it to only me, if you don’t want to show it to anybody.
Important:
Just go to your account
and check your privacy settings today. Your information may be public. Change them
according to your choice.
You can control it by going to your privacy settings as shown below.
You can access the
privacy directly from Facebook home page by clicking privacy shortcut button on
right side of home button.
Use "view as" to see how your profile looks to others and control it.
Take your post and Information
serious before it starts affecting you.
